On July 27^th 2012, Can Tho University (CTU) was honored to welcome Mr. Douglas Coulter, Executive Director of Open Minds Foundation to pay a warm visit to CTU. At the Guest Hall of CTU Rectorate Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Van Xe – CTU Vice Rector, along with representative leaders of Department of International Affairs, and responsible staff of Quality Assurance and Testing Center warmly received Mr. Douglas Coulter.

On this visit, representing Open Minds Foundation, Mr. Douglas Coulter kindly expressed the wishes to make contribution towards higher education of CTU in quality assurance. At the meeting with leaders of CTU, Mr. Douglas Coulter introduced the research practice of quality assurance with hope to help CTU teacher staff in self-improving to enhance the internal quality of teaching activities, contributing to the quality assurance of CTU’s activities in teaching and education. In addition, he promised to support CTU with the training for quality assurance and be willing to consult and answer any related questions. By the way, CTU leaders expressed sincere thanks to Mr. Douglas Coulter for his goodwill to CTU.
