CTU warmly welcomed NIU (Taiwan) at CTU’s side

On this visit, the delegation of NIU would like to seek for the understanding of CTU’s overview of academic and research activities, especially in fields of engineering technology, agriculture and biotechnology. Accordingly, representative leaders of NIU kindly expressed their goodwill to collaborate with CTU in these fields.

Representing CTU Rectorate Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan introduced CTU’s general activities to the delegation of NIU, in particular the objective to develop CTU to be an excellent research university. In addition, CTU plays a very important role in training the high-quality human resources for the whole Mekong Delta of Vietnam. Due to the strong points of the Mekong Delta of Vietnam on agriculture and aquaculture development, in combination with the target to industrialize and modernize of the region, CTU definitely determines the importance of training, developing and apply the breakthroughs of engineering technology into the economic development of the region, increasing the living standards of the local people. Therefore, CTU is very honored and willing to collaborate with other universities and institutions to build up mutual developments. In particular, CTU’s leader kindly expressed great honors to have collaborations with NIU.

On this occasion, CTU and NIU mutually discussed the directions for the collaborations in the coming time. After the meeting, CTU’s leaders arranged a tour for NUI to visit CTU’s colleges and schools.
